Phyllis E. Gentry is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts Degree.
​
Phyllis, along with her sister, Sue Matthews owned a commercial interior design firm, Design Innovations, Inc. for over thirty years.
​
Phyllis was given a horse by her parents when she was only ten years old. She has continued to own, ride, and care for horses. For her, horses have been a lifelong passion.
